Dear Thomas, Someone contacted me regarding missing CollEc updates (see below). I found the source of the problem. It lies in CollEc's input data. /home/icanis/icanis/opt/input/ras_mans_texts...xml used to be updated every night. It apparently stopped on February 01, 2021. I thought we agreed to keep your script generating that file running? It is just an import of RAS data and should be computationally cheap. Dear colleague, Many thanks for having enhanced through your work the features of Collec on RePec and for you insightful instruction video on how to interpret the concepts and its results. I had a small follow-up question for which I could not find the answer in the documentation: how long does it normally take for a newly-registered author in RePec to be included in the Collec statistics? Of course, the question arises from a personal observation: one of my co-authors, George Mavrotas (pma3035, no to be confused with a colleague bearing the same name, pma2789), has registered with RePec a few months ago and as I failed to see him appear in my Collec co-author statistics, I checked his personal page to find out that he does not yet seem to be included in Collec. Is this normal that it takes a number of months to be included or should this be reported as an error? Well of course it did to do the legacy instance.

The "?" suggests you are that sure, and neither am I so I'm in good company ;-)
It is just an import of RAS data and should be computationally cheap.
Since you need this data, I think the best way would be to run a separate instance that will dump the data in a different directory. -- Cheers, Thomas Krichel http://openlib.org/home/krichel skype:thomaskrichel
I just created a directory in the updating folder: /home/collec/opt/updating/ras_text_import. Feel free to store the file in there or in any other directory on Helos. Thanks. /home/icanis/opt/input/ras_mans_nodes_1622661330.xml Crontabed once a day, check the time when it usually arrives for your load. -- Cheers, Thomas Krichel http://openlib.org/home/krichel skype:thomaskrichel
