Woke up with hangover at 6:30. The /var/lib/mysql and its subfolders was owned by systemd-coredump. It should be mysql.mysql I think, so I fixed. And the permission of the directory had to be widened to 755 from 700. Then I found I had to remove /var/lib/mysql/tc.log.
